CROSAT Hosts first Scientific Conference to tackle Climate Change in Crop Production
November 10, 2024In line with its mission to connect stakeholders in crop sciences across Tanzania, CROSAT, represented by Deputy Publicity Secretary Ms. Jenipher Tairo, recently met with Dr. Mohamed Dhamir, the Director General of Zanzibar Agricultural Research Institute (ZARI). During the meeting, Ms. Tairo presented the vision and objectives of CROSAT, inviting Dr. Dhamir to join the organization and become part of its network.

Dr. Dhamir expressed his appreciation for the opportunity and assured that ZARI would be happy to collaborate further with CROSAT to advance crop science research and development. Both parties agreed to continue their efforts to improve crop sciences in the region.
This collaboration marks another step forward in fostering stronger partnerships within the agricultural research community in Tanzania.
